The whole country knew about the existence of this place, but before the beginning of the 1990s it was simply not on the map. All that had to do with Star City was covered by a thick veil of secrecy and ordinary inhabitants had no idea where it was located. Nowadays, a trip there has become possibility. - You will visit the Cosmonauts Training Centre, which still works as it did in the past and future astronauts are still training within its walls. Space simulators, space station modules and different versions of multi-seater spaceships are all awaiting your visit.
- Take in the fantastic Museum of Cosmonautics, where absolutely unique items are presented, including: the awards and uniforms of Yuri Gagarin and other cosmonauts from the first detachment, spacesuits which Soviet astronauts wore aboard the Salyut space station, as well as their outfits, equipment and personal belongings.
- Visit the office of the discoverer of space himself, Yuri Gagarin. This is definitely a special place. Did you know that according to long-established tradition, every cosmonaut must visit here before they start training?
